What We Believe

About the Bible: The Bible is God's word to humanity, given without
error, and tells us what God is like and what He requires of us. It is
the only infallible source of truth given to us for life and faith.
II Timothy 3:16-17; II Peter 1:20-21

About God: There is one God who exists in three persons: The Father, the
Son, and the Holy Spirit. He is both Great and Good.
He is Sovereign and He is Lord.
Matthew 28:19; I John 5:7

About Humanity: Since the historic fall of Adam and Eve, we have been
relationally separated from God because of sin. People in their natural
state are hostile to God's rule over their life.
Romans 3:9-18; 8:6-8

About Salvation: A person's relationship with God is restored as they
turn from sin and trust in Jesus Christ, who died on the cross to pay
the penalty for sin, and rose from the dead to offer eternal life to
those who believe.
Acts 2:22-24, 32-36,37-39; Romans 3:21-24

About our Lifestyles: The Good News of the Gospel is that a relationship
with God offers the real freedom that we're all searching for - not by
doing anything we desire, but by finding the lasting pleasure of knowing
God's way and following and obeying Him through Christ.
Ephesians 2:8-10; James 2:14-20

About Jesus Christ and the Future: Jesus Christ, having ascended into
heaven, now reigns as Lord and King over all, and will some day return
to earth to rule and save and judge.
Matthew 24:30; 25:31, Acts 1:9-11
