CHPC Flocks Flock Rotations 2008:
April Sunday Hosting - Childers Visitor’s Dessert - Beattie Wednesday Dinner – Siler/Ashlock Church Lunch Hosts - Forlaw Off – Hoxter May Sunday Hosting - Siler Visitor’s Dessert - Childers Wednesday Dinner – Hoxter/Beattie Church Lunch Hosts - Ashlock Off – Forlaw Flock Duty Descriptions:
Sunday Morning Hosting Duties: -Greet people and hand out bulletins -Set out blue attendance books -Collect attendance books after worship -Help visitors locate the nursery, restrooms, classes, etc. -Wear nametags located behind the Welcome Center. -Prepare any necessary items for worship. -Make coffee at 8:45 am (set-up instructions are located behind the Welcome Center) and clean out coffee pot when worship is over. -Empty trash if needed. -Turn off lights and close building up after worship. -Notify the church office if supplies are running low.
Visitor’s Dessert duties: -Get a flock member to host Dessert gathering for new people -Jim Whittle will coordinate date and invitations with Elder.
Church Lunch Hosting duties: -Set up preparation (12 tables with 8 chairs each, 3 serving tables, 2 mats rolled out); must be done Saturday night before Church Lunch. -Cover tables with Banquet Cover and get paper goods out (plates, cups, utensils). -Prepare drinks and heat food. -Bring food to serving tables. -Wash used utensils after lunch. -Put tables and chairs back in the cafeteria. -Take the trash out. -Take dirty rags home to wash and return. -Notify the church office if paper goods or other supplies are running low. (Please check closet in gym for extra supplies before requesting more)
Wednesday Dinner duties: -Prepare, cook, and serve dinner each Wednesday night (CHPC will reimburse you for expenses not to exceed $125.00). -Clean up after dinner (wash dishes, trash out, wipe tables down). -Take dirty rags home to wash and return. -Notify the church office if paper goods or other supplies are running low. -Prepare for 80 people unless it is a non-normal week. Recommendations from Pastor Whittle: -Get a flock family to “own” each of the duties to coordinate the function for the flock so that the Elder and wife and are not in charge. -Consider doing a mercy event as a flock during your “off” month.
